I'm MUTHUKUMAR

Hi, I’m Muthu Kumar, a passionate Software Developer and Network Engineer with a strong interest in building secure, efficient, and scalable systems. I hold an M.Tech in Networking and have hands-on experience in configuring routers, switches, and firewalls.

Along with networking, I also have solid experience in software development, which helps me bridge the gap between infrastructure and code. I enjoy solving complex technical problems, learning new technologies, and continuously improving my skills.

Currently, I’m expanding my knowledge in DevOps to combine software development, networking, and automation for creating reliable and high-performing infrastructures.

Static Routing Configuration

Designed and implemented static routing between multiple routers using PNETLab. Configured IP addressing and static routes on each router, verified end-to-end connectivity using ping and traceroute, and ensured reliable communication across different network segments in a virtual lab environment.

Configured a DHCP server to automatically assign IP addresses, subnet mask, default gateway, and DNS settings to client devices. Implemented DHCP pools and exclusions, verified lease allocation and renewal, and ensured seamless network connectivity in a virtual lab environment using PNETLab.

Designed and implemented IP subnetting to divide a network into smaller logical segments. Calculated subnet masks, network IDs, broadcast addresses, and usable host ranges. Developed a web-based expense tracker using JavaScript and Firebase. Implemented user authentication, real-time expense storage, income and expense categorization, and dynamic balance calculation. Used Firebase Firestore for data persistence and ensured responsive UI for better user experience.

Developed a web-based instant background remover using JavaScript. Implemented image upload and processing to automatically remove backgrounds, allowing users to download clean, transparent images. Focused on fast processing, simple user interface, and smooth user experience for quick image editing.

EBook Hub

Designed and developed a full-stack EBook management web application. Built the backend using .NET Core Web API with SQL Server as the database, and developed the frontend using Angular. Implemented role-based authentication with Admin login for managing books (upload, edit, delete) and User login using Firebase Google Authentication for secure access. Users can log in and read books, while all content management is handled by the admin. The application was deployed and hosted on an Ubuntu server.

Built a full-stack e-commerce web app for groceries and dairy products with Angular frontend and .NET Core Web API backend. Features include dynamic category tabs, animated add-to-cart, sticky cart bar, and real-time product updates. Admin panel with fixed login manages products, categories, and orders in real time. Deployed using Docker & docker-compose for a production-ready setup.
